The Faculty of Mathematics of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, promotes research of excellence supporting initiatives as associated projetcs. These projects encourage the creation and consolidation of groups and scientific centers, articulating and associating researchers with a common objective.

This type of research associative projects might involve the joint work of scientists of other deparments, academic units, facultys or universitys.

Actually, the Faculty of Mathematics UC participates in the following associative projects: two Nucleo Milenio, funded by the Iniciativa Científica Milenio (MCI), and a Anillo de Investigación, funded by the Comisión Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica (CONICYT) through the investigation programme.
