PhD students in Statistics must apply for Conicyt scholarships (http://www.conicyt.cl/becasconicyt). Furthermore, the Vice-Rectory for Research and Postgraduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile offers a PhD scholarship (http://investigacion.uc.cl/), which can cover up to 90% of the fee. To apply for this scholarship, you must have applied for the Conicyt scholarship.
